My students come to school lacking early reading and math skills. They require materials that will allow them to touch and feel the concepts. Students with dyslexia require a kinesthetic approach to reading, being able to see and touch the sounds to then blend them into words and then practice sentence reading such as with the phonics touch and read activities from Lakeshore will give my students varied activities for practice. The various readers ordered on Amazon will give my students high-quality readers to practice their emerging reading skills. The handwriting practice with grooves will give them the ability to "feel" how the letters should be made until they have the muscle memory to write the letters independently.
