These materials will make a difference in my student's learning because students will physically be able to hold these shapes in their hand. They can count vertices, look at edges, and be able to classify similar shapes in their space by having a model to go by. I will use these materials in centers, in academic play, and I will also incorporate them in small group activities such as comparing 2D and 3D objects. This will give all my students opportunities to engage with real life models, and it will also meet all my students different learning styles.
