Most children now a days have no idea that every electronic object they touch or use has to be coded/programmed by a person. My desire is to begin with my K-1 students to show them, by using BeeBots, how people program things to work. I have already made many BeeBots mats, which the students will be able to use to not only code the BeeBots to move to the correct answer, but allows the students to practice letter identification, addition/subtraction, counting, color recognition, letter sounds, retell a story, and rhyming words.
