The letter resources will help to teach RF 1.2.abcd and RF 1.3.abcdef. These standards focus on decoding words, distinguishing between long and short vowel sounds and much more. Since my students were only able to go to school for 3 hours last year due to the Covid pandemic, I am needing to teach a lot of foundational skills that they were not able to learn from their previous year. I have a group of students who need to learn letters and sounds. The alphabet activity will be used to help those students learn their letters and sounds. These resources will help me to close their reading gap. We are using Chromebooks a lot in our class and struggle to keep them all charged and organized. A charging station will help with organization and time management. Having Chromebooks plugged in to one place would help have more space in our room.
