The Kindergarten students in my class have grown up during a pandemic. Play is an important part of a child's growth and development, from learning how to socialize and working well with classmates to practicing languages skills. Due to social distancing and safety measures, my students have missed out on normal preschool and daycare experiences. Students have not been given the opportunity to just play! One of the speaking and listening standards states that children need to follow agreed-upon rules for conversations. Students working in a dramatic play station must decide who will be the doctor and who will be the patient for successful play in the "Doctors Office". This project will help my students to be creative, imaginative, curious, and brave. During play students will learn to communicate well, collaborate and problem solve .
