With the goal of mastering multiplication facts 0-10 by the end of 3rd grade, I have selected a variety math materials to support and encourage my students to practice multiplication in many fun ways. My students also need good working headphones to listen to stories that are entertaining and to hear how to read with emotion. They will also use them in our Math curriculum to help assist students who need text to speech help. The Scholastic "Storyworks" magazine subscription will provide my students with exciting multigenre stories that they can read at school and then take home to help them build fluency and to encourage their love of reading. An added bonus to this subscription is that they will also be able to access stories online if they have a tablet or laptop at home.
