This project gives my students the opportunity to experience deep hands-on learning during the time they are not at home, making their in class time more valuable. They can use information gathered from the project to enrich the lessons they may have to do at home due to virtual learning or in school. I can send videos and updates from their Bioactive Vivariums so they can still observe and record data. There are many opportunities for building, observing, and creating their own bioactive living worlds bridging the gap between them and nature. Students will also have the opportunity to do many assignments involving the scientific methods; including graphing, charting and recording data.
