These items will provide an opportunity for my students to access learning using technology that meets their unique needs. Students will use the iPads at school to complete learning assignments, investigate the world we live in, use technology like their typical peers, promote collaboration and team learning, and teach essential vocational skills as they will be entering the workforce soon. The Nintendo switch will be used to provide leisure skills development and allow for meaningful interactions with their typical peers. By holding lunch clubs and competitions, we will be providing our unique students' opportunities to socialize and develop relationships with their peers. This will also provide an opportunity for typical peers to spend meaningful time with students who they do not regularly spend time with, growing more respect for individual uniqueness as we can teach them that “different” does not mean less than.
