This year I was chosen to teach students remotely who are not able to come to school due to personal or family illness. Making the conversion to virtual teaching has been exciting, but not without its challenges. I've found myself having to get creative in keeping the kids engaged. After brainstorming with some fellow teachers, I decided that mailing my students postcards, motivational quotes, and stickers might be just what they need to get them more involved. Who doesn't like receiving mail! Nowadays, most people open their mailbox to bills or junk mail. I would love for my students to check the mail for their parents and be happy to find something for themselves! Whether it be a little note of encouragement, a free homework pass, or even a sticker or two, I know that it will put a smile on the face of my students. Having access to an Epson printer will allow these actions into fruition.
