The requested items will help fill COVID learning gaps in my classroom by giving my students individual learning resources that they can use in their centers. The listening center will allow my students who are yet to be readers to have the opportunity to listen to grade level stories and discuss the story elements with their peers. The storage center will allow me to keep my listening center organized and ready to go. The read along library will allow my students to have resources to use with our listening center. This meets standard (ELA 2.SL.2) The fluency cards and the word building board will help my students to be able to become fluent readers in my classroom. The math quiz cards will help them to continue to improve math learning gaps while continuing to build their 2nd grade skills. They will be able to focus on math fluency skills (Math 2.OAT.2) The last thing in my cart is the Engineering Center. This will allow my students to build upon STEM skills and collaborate with their peers.
