These resources will give my students practice in reading and math activities that are directly tied to Nevada Academic Content Standards. The math centers are focused on Counting and Cardinality, which is essential to building a strong math foundation. The Rebus set of books will provide classroom materials so that my students have the opportunity to master R.I.K10 (independently reading emergent texts). The fiction text set will allow me to read engaging and challenging stories to my students so that they can work on the Reading Literature standards, specifically R.L.K.3.
