I have been teaching the students regulation strategies as well as Mindful breathing. I'm hoping to add to my self regulation stations with hands on activities to help build their self esteem in self regulation. For instance, When a child gets sent out of the room for a "break" I'd like them to be doing something constructive getting them into class sooner. I feel like its a waste to have students it in the hall. They do not use the time to self regulate, they still need a little help. I want to give that to them .
