1.OA.A.1 : Represent and solve problems involving addition and subtraction. This standard can support one of the items I put which was whiteboards, markers, and erasers. It gives students the chance to practice math problems quickly rather than pencil and paper. Having the right supplies/tools really benefits a student's education. One thing I've observed is how different every student learns. When it comes to math, having a whiteboard, marker, and eraser really does help them. Whether it is drawing pictures for a word problem or practicing simple math facts for addition or subtraction, they love to use the marker and whiteboard for math. We also use these materials for other subjects as well such for foundational skills, or writing. Having these tools in the classroom will definitely benefit my students learning in all subjects.
