Since some students only opportunity to use painting materials is at school, having enough for everyone is really important. Students will have the opportunity to try different mediums and utilize materials they feel will help them express themselves the best. The paintbrushes and tempera sticks also allow students with varying ability levels to use materials they feel more comfortable controlling. It also allows students to utilize different approaches and develop their art-making skills or techniques. My classroom is a fun place where kids can be themselves and work confidently!
