After a year of virtual learning, students need more opportunities than ever to positively connect with their peers. Games are a collaborative way to develop students' social and emotional skills, and I would love for students to have tech-free opportunities to connect with other students during free-time and indoor recess in the winter. Additionally, many of my students did not have access to school or community libraries during virtual learning. Now that we are back in person, I have some students who are devouring our classroom library, which is a great problem to have! I would love to be able to give my students more opportunities to explore the world through reading.
