Chromebooks are used in my classroom as a way for students to work indepently or collaboratively. There are many district supported solutions that my students use including iReady, Google Classroom, Loom, Adobe Spark, Nearpod, not to mention taking district benchmarks. In some cases, it is helpful for students to have their own chromebook when creating a project, keyboarding or taking an assessment. I am hoping to get my classroom 1:1 with technology for those types of scenarios. Integrating technology is part of our daily instruction and best practices of teaching.
