The dividers will help my students stay focused during small groups and will also help support and prevent challenging and unsafe behaviors from happening in the classroom. Changes in my student's routine can trigger unpleasant feelings and anxiety for them. Unpredictable weather such as snow or rain can sometimes mean we need to have indoor recess. This change in routine can cause tantrums and unsafe behavior in my students. The puzzles, blocks, kinetic sand, and jumping stones will help my students play appropriately and safely during indoor recess. by giving them fun and engaging items to play with when such changes in schedule happen due to the weather.
