My students love to move around the classroom - they can get comfortable just about anywhere. Students will ask me if they can work on the floor, against the wall, under the table, you name it! The problem is my classroom floors are not very comfortable! I would love to give my students some flexible seating options so they can work comfortably and still be engaged in their learning. Due to COVID we are not able to have rugs in our classrooms but it's difficult to engage learners when they are sitting in rows. Having individual seating options for students would boost academic engagement and allow learners to view our classroom as more of a home.
