These items will be used for prizes as positive incentives for students. Students can earn a sticker for answering questions, doing the right thing, being ready with materials or helping others. Once students earn 30 stickers they can redeem them for a ticket. A ticket will reveal a prize such as special seating, a pencil with a fun eraser on top or another fun reward. Our classroom theme is camping so the woodland set of 3 soft stools will tie in nicely. Students will feel as if they are sitting at a campground. As you know 8-9 year olds make plenty of written mistakes so erasers are essential. Erasers seem to be a hot commodity so students will want to earn that as a prize. Students can take ownership of their behavior and in turn take ownership of their prizes that they themselves have earned.
