Students will connect how math can help solve real world problems by doing the activities from the "Hands on Math Projects for the Real World". They will be able to connect Math to Real World situations and make it more relevant to them. They will use the quality compasses to help draw accurate figures, etc... The scientific calculators will help them do complicated computations accurately and quickly. Most of our students learn by doing hands on projects! Having the proper tools to do these projects is very important. By having the tools and doing hands on projects, students will be more engaged and be more successful in the classroom.
