The funding requested would be used to upgrade and/or replace old PE equipment. For many of our 680 students, this is the first time back inside a school in over a year and a half. Physical activity provides important benefits for children, such as reducing the risk of obesity, building strong bones and muscles, and improving academic performance. Providing students with a variety of unique physical activities, classroom activities, after school and recess programs is the key to physical fitness. Participating in regular physical activities is Nevada's PE Content Standard 3.0.

About my class
