Our school is in a transitional period at the moment, as our new principal has improved our mission statement and seeks to steer our school towards less paper based learning and more hands-on as well as technology-based learning. Our new curriculums are mostly all online and are promising for enabling us to carry out our new mission. However, we do not have enough technology to serve all our students at the same time. We have to share what we have. I have been appointed the science teacher for grades K-5 and see 11 different classes a week, each class has between 8 and 12 students. Having access to laptops enables every student to have access to the interactive science curriculum that includes live worksheets, individual assessments, group activities, as well as Kahoots quizzes.
