My students will benefit from these materials in variety of ways. My lessons will promote physical activity, social skills and boost self-confidence. These resources will help encourage my students to become engaged in the lesson. Allowing them to have their own piece of equipment will give Kindergarten a chance to practice standard PE K 1.2.2 (Perform manipulative skills in isolation). New equipment provides new learning opportunities to all grade levels, while also giving my fifth graders a chance to develop their metacognition skills. We can participate in new activities causing them to formulate new strategies, standard PE 5 2.5.2 (Explain strategies within physical education).
