11th-grade English at Aurora Central High School. This class is loving, and laid-back, but has high expectations for students to be diligent and push themselves to grow. The goal is to not only understand each story we read better, but to see how it can apply to the world around them. As students leave my class, they understand that diverse perspectives are important. Not because you always agree with them, but because understanding other humans is the most human thing you can do. We work day in and day out to see how that can manifest through reading.
