Dramatic play provides students with the opportunity to learn those social emotional skills that they will use on a daily basis. Due to the pandemic, many of our students did not have the opportunity to engage or interact with other children in their normal day and because of this many are still figuring out the best way to interact with others. Not only will these tools give the students the opportunity to play with one another, but they will also give them the chance to develop better communication skills as they play together. Many of my students are creative thinkers and learn best when being hands on and working with tools in their hands. Each and every product I have selected gives the students the chance to be hands on in their learning and work that the pace that they are at. These will be extremely beneficial as many students really just need the chance to interact with each other through play and STEM activities. SL.K.6. Speak audibly and express thoughts, feelings, and ideas clearly. SL.K.1. Participate in collaborative conversations with diverse partners about kindergarten topics and texts with peers and adults in small and larger groups.
