My class is learning all about letter identification. I have been determined to ensure students find a thrill in learning new letters and sounds. Having these puppets will allow students to make connections between letters and sounds. Having the stand will give us an opportunity to display the puppets year-round and use them whenever students need encouragement to sound out words. As we explore sounds we will also be doing a lot of science activities. We will be doing a lot of hands-on science experiments. My students would love to have a water/sand table in the classroom! We currently use plastic tubes outside, and my students would love to bring that excitement inside the classroom!
