The art curriculum at Gehring Academy is based upon the Nevada Visual Art Content standards. We will be closely fulfilling the following standard through the acquisition of the requested materials focusing on VA:Cr2.5.1 Experiment and develop skills in multiple art-making techniques and approaches through practice. Through hands on application students will participate in a range of drawing, painting, and ceramic based projects with these supplies. Many of our students have extremely limited art experiences or access to art supplies. Empowering students with creative outlets and STEAM designed art lessons are engaging lessons that will enhance student learning and success.
