Supportive floor seating options in the classroom will help students attend to an activity while sitting collectively with their peers on the floor. My special education classroom serves as a revolving door for students in a variety of inclusion settings. This year, I have a focus on reconnecting and establishing meaningful peer relationships. The seating I’m requesting will help students, with varied physical needs, sit on the rug with back support in both my classroom and their general education home rooms. Additionally, the games will help them play cooperatively together.
