The whiteboard will bring the learning away from traditional desks and allow more collaborative learning with my students. They could work in groups and with partners to solve math problems. The whiteboard allows for mistakes and encourages them; mistakes are often a hindrance for kids in math. They don't want to try because they don't want to make a mistake. The whiteboard allows them to do this and erase quickly, allowing the learning to continue. I hope that more confidence will come from my students using the whiteboards as learning tools.
