With our school being brand new, much of the money that can be used for supplemental resources are not able to be funded this year. Scholastic News is an engaging way for students to learn about current events that impact their own life. The magazines and videos that Scholastic provides are high interest to the students in my classroom. Many ask each week when we can have Scholastic News again! Even those who find reading to be more of a struggle, enjoy feeling independent with the text to speech feature. Please consider supporting bringing Scholastic News back, and giving my students the opportunity to engage in quality non-fiction text!
