I am incredibly lucky to have the old band room as my music classroom. My room is so big, it can house multiple keyboards along the back wall and create a sort of mini piano lab. These 4 keyboards are just the starting point for the vision I have. Eventually, I hope to have 12 brand new keyboards with proper stands, stools, damper pedals, and headphones. If this project is well-supported by donors, I hope to do more in the near future and possibly complete this big endeavor by the end of the school year. I want my students to enter my classroom eager to learn music and leave excited for the next time they come back. From learning how to read music, to developing fine motor skills, to just instilling a lifelong appreciation for music, having these keyboards would mean the world to myself and my students. Family, friends, and community members can watch as their child grows in school and spreads the joy of music wherever they may go.
