We have a large empty waiting area in our counseling center that we hope to use for our calming center with this hammock, LED fountain, and Roma moonstone. The space has a lot of potential but is in need of some warm touches to make it comfortable for students. We are hoping to create a calming, sensory-friendly space for middle school students. It will help provide them with a safe space to regulate their emotions so that they can be more successful in their education. The space could also help us make the counseling center a more inviting place to visit.
