These materials will be used to help students learn by creating an environment that will allow my students to be leaders in the classroom. Flexible seating is just as important to the classroom community as air quality, light, or temperature. A student can't learn if they are uncomfortable. I am striving to give my students options to sit in ways that make them wiggle and move in small or big ways that they can focus on material and be in charge of their education. Students need to be given a choice in their education in order to succeed academically. This ranges from how and where they seat to how they present their understanding of an assignment. I will allow my students to use these materials in the resource classroom during study hall or small group work. I will also allow students to use them in the general education classrooms as needed. I want to be able to provide the materials for the school when a student needs.
