The Lego BricQ Motion kits will engage my students with hands-on experiences to experiment with forces and motion. Force and Motion (5) 2.6, 2.7, Investigation (5) 1.6, 1.8, Global Impact E12, C16, NGSS 3-5 engineering, SEP 1-8. Students will be using the brain models to understand the nervous system and how important the brain is to the human body. SEP 2 (Science and Engineering Practices): Developing Using Models, SEP 8: Obtaining, Evaluating, and Communicating Information, 1HRS3.1 Identify the functions of the major body parts (nervous system,) using correct anatomical terms, RI3.2, SL3.1, SL3.2.
