There are many geographical settings that make up the earth's surface. Many of these characteristics can be seen on maps as well as from satellites because of their size. Many land formations are a result of weather and time, and often co-exist with one another. These resources will allow students to view the earth's surface from above virtually. Students can take videos and pictures of geographical areas and create stereoscopic 3D images and videos to view. Geographic representations SS.6-8.WGGS.27. Utilize and construct maps, charts, and other geographic representations to explain and analyze regional, environmental, and cultural characteristics of various places around the world. Human environment interaction (G) SS.6-8.WGGS.28. Analyze and explain the cultural, physical, and environmental characteristics of places and regions and how these affect the lives of the people who live there.
