My students are all in the third grade this year, but unfortunately every one of them is reading on a Kindergarten level. This significantly impacts their education because it hinders their ability to complete assignments when they cannot read to understand what they need to do. They are much more engaged in the lesson when it is interactive and fun for them, I would love to introduce them to BrainPop Jr. where more of the information is presented verbally for them, The students are also extremely fidgety this year, so I strongly believe the flex seating would help them get their energy out but still pay attention to the lesson being presented. The gift cards to Teachers Pay Teachers would be a huge help for me to obtain other reading resources on a lower level in which my students would be able to read and understand. I want to help build their confidence in reading and completing assignments so that they are ultimately able to achieve their goals. My primary goal this year is to help my students get as close to being back to a third grade level as possible! My students are incredibly hard working and deserving of the resources they need to learn in school. Many of them do not have the support that others fortunately do at home, so I try my best to provide as much support as possible in the school environment. Please help me obtain the resources to help them achieve their potential!!
