Boom Cards are engaging tools that students can use to practice specific skills using their Chromebooks. I have requested gift cards to Teacher Pay Teacher to purchase Boom Cards for my students to use both in the classroom as well as use at home. Boom Cards give students engaging games and activities to practice skills that have been taught. After students answer questions feedback is given instantly so students know immediately if they are on the right track. The use of Boom Cards will be helpful for all of my students whether they are at grade level or below by providing visually engaging activities. These Boom Card decks will help provide me with data on how my students are progressing and mastering specific skills. This will help me determine where my instruction needs to go with each learner. Boom Cards will help me give my ELL students activities that will help support them as they are learning English in the same format that their peers are learning as well.
