Opportunity for hands on learning will be supported by number lines, math manipulatives, STEM Builders, and Sight Word skill builder. Complex tasks and learning will be supported by the use of materials and manipulatives in the hands of students. Students will be able to use number lines and Ten Frames to solve a variety of math problems. Number lines and ten frames will be used in stations for independent learning once skills have been taught. Students will use STEM Builder to collaborate, write, and present a robot that was built perform a given task. Students will use SIGHT WORD in a station to reinforce skills taught during guided instruction.
