As kindergarteners in an online setting, the balance between online learning and physical/material learning is a necessity. Students are still grappling with fine motor skills, counting, forming lettings and numbers, building words, and more! The iPad will provide a way to reach students effectively at our exclusively virtual school. Specifically, with the touch screen, I will be able to model more effectively how to form letters and numbers, which is extremely difficult to do with a mouse and a computer. The printer will allow me to print material for students on a variety of topics that are directly in support of the Nevada Academic Content Standards: patterns, solving math problems by drawings, that they may not have access to print out.

About my class
