Currently we only have access to pdf copies of the books students are reading in ELA class. This means that even though we are fully in person learning, students are reading on their computers and for the most part doing work on their computers in other core classes. In an effort to minimize screen time, we are trying to get a copy of D'Aulaires Book of Greek Myths for each student. This way they can experience the joy of holding a book in their hand, feeling their progress in between their fingers, and taking a MUCH needed break from their computers. Many students have voiced a desire to read a physical copy of the book, but currently we do not have the resources to provide every student with a book. We would greatly appreciate having a class set of the book for our next unit, and our students would be so grateful.
