The materials I have requested will help me teach students about their feelings, social skills, how to cope with difficult situations, and showing them it's okay to have difficult emotions, as long as we handle them safely! Books are a great way to teach the younger students about emotions, and materials such as kinetic sand and a cuddle pillow help them to calm down when they're upset! So many of my students have never been in a school before, so they feel confused, lost, and frustrated when it comes to their emotions and making friends. These materials will be a great way to teach them the tools they need to be successful in school and in the community. Thank you so much for your help!
