The math and reading manipulatives will help students with disabilities gain hands-on experiences with their learning. These manipulatives will help students to better understand the Nevada Academic Content Standards being taught so they may apply these skills to their work and lives. My students are noticeably more engaged in learning when they are provided with hands-on experiences. Having manipulatives will help my students with comprehending what is being taught. These tools will reach both student individualized education plan goals and NACS. It will also provide visual support for my student population who happens to be English language learners and students with disabilities.
