My project will provide access to technology to allow students to develop fine motor and computer usage skills to benefit from computer-based academic and social skill intervention programs. These computer skills are essential to their success when using technology at home and at school. The internet-based programs that I will be using are Rethink Ed and Sanford Harmony SEL. These programs provide research-based interventions to students with disabilities in the classroom, and lessons to access virtually while at home. My instruction in the classroom, with the technology I am requesting, will allow my students to develop the skills to become independent computer users so that they can continue learning whether in person or virtually!
