Our class has students often times taking care of projects while the class is learning. Giving them the ability to have their voice heard on the EQOD or essential question of the day while they are mobile and working on exciting projects is a massive draw for my students. Our most recent lab activity has students growing plants with different variables and they are responsible for ensuring their science project is maintained daily, this can range from adding special ingredients in the beginning of class or measuring a precise amount of water daily. This has gotten them so psyched for the beginning of the year and this iPad will give them a great opportunity to exercise that freedom that they are given.
