My school is a highly at-risk school with low income households. Our student body is over 90% Hispanic and African American. My project will help me teach Nevada Standards for reading, writing, and language. Our class needs a proper library. Bins will help level books for the students to use at school and check out books for home. My students are innovative, creative and eager to learn! Students will use the headphones for school approved computer programs and listening centers. The bins/ baskets will be used to level books for the class library, The composition books will be used to respond to stories and for journal writing. The printer will bring their writing to life, with color! RF.2.3 Know and apply grade-level phonics and word analysis skills in decoding words. W.2.6 With guidance and support from adults, use a variety of digital tools to produce and publish writing, including in collaboration with peers.
