In our classroom, we must do differentiation daily to meet the need of all students. Students will use Kindles and headphones to work on their independent needs. Students work in small groups daily for both math and reading. Students will use the Kindles during small groups to practice phonics and high-frequency words and have a listening center to read books. In math, students will practice math facts. Students will use the headphones to read aloud and be recorded. The use of technology in the classroom will also allow students to have different engaging modes of instruction. Small group instruction is essential to our students, especially with the loss of education that occurred during the 19/20 and 20/21 school years.
