These ipads with kids protective cases will enhance and engage my second graders with reading and math during interventions. This will allow me to create another station/center for them to increase their fluency in reading and math while I'm working with a small group. By donating to our class project, you will create another learning environment using updated technology and increase academic achievement in reading and math thus improving self-esteem. Students will be able to listen, read, and take short quizzes to increase their literacy and comprehension skills with fiction, non-fiction, and informational texts(RL.2.1, RL.2.2, RI.2.1, RI.2.4, RF.2, RF.2.4, L.2.4). Since this is a world full of students that love to play video games, the online math games that they can play on the ipads will not only improve their addition and subtraction skills (2.OA.A, 2.NBT.A, B), but also increase their engagement and desire to learn.
