Our little learners learn through participating in hands-on, engaging activities. The materials I have requested will provide opportunities for practice with early learning skills including, but not limited to, recognizing numerals (1.PK.3a), matching the number of objects in a set to the correct numeral (1.K.3), counting (1.K.4) and recognizing and naming letters (1.PK.3). In addition, I have requested items such as a rug and carpet markers to assist with social distancing during whole-group activities, as well as pencil pouches to assist with keeping materials separated for our little learners.
