My students need headphones and mice to help them interact with the lessons in a more engaging way. I see my students focused and engaged in the lessons in class participating in discussions with each other. I see my students pairing up and sharing ideas, questions, interests, and knowledge and it all becomes easier with using an iPad to help guide them through the lessons. I see my students being better than I was at their age and becoming well versed in building community online, open-minded, and independent people that will be ready for the ever-changing digital community. R.L4.10, R.I.4.10, Using the headphones will help them practice their phonemic awareness which will then help bring them up to grade level ultimately becoming better readers. The mice will help them navigate and build the dexterity to work on reading skills in the future. The seating will set up a comfortable place for them to practice their reading skills.
