The students at our school are in need of shirts that are the right color. We have several families who have not been able to afford uniforms. The students feel akward and are unable to learn because socially and emotionally they are not set up for success. We want to be able to offer students a school polo who can't afford one so those students can feel like they belong and fit in with their peers. Students are also in need of masks to feel safe at school. If a student doesn't have a mask, they don't feel safe or that they fit in at school, where everyone is wearing masks. We are also in need of snacks to keep on hand for students who come to school without eating. It is important for a student to not be hungry. When they are hungry they have a hard time focusing in class. There are no standards associated with this project. It is simply for the social and emotional needs of the students.
